After the ferry into Port Ellen, the first distillery is Laphroaig (perhaps my favourite), followed by Lagavulin (more compact than expected) and Ardbeg (a welcoming courtyard but the 19 y/o was disappointing) within a mile or so around the shoreline. #Islay #Laphroaig #Lagavulin #Ardbeg #whisky

The one potential snag of the extended stay was, because we assumed to be leaving on Monday, we finished the #Ardbeg on Sunday night. Fortunately a bottle of #Laphroaig (and a loaf of bread) was helicoptered in for us on Tuesday. Might have been a whole different story without it.

Wir werden drei rauchige Single Malt Scotch Whiskys verkosten und darüber reden wie es sich im Jahr 2023 im Stil des 19. Jahrhunderts lebt.

Und was ist dieses „Whiskykränzchen“ überhaupt? Livetastings gibt es ja bereits mehr als genug!
…Ich verkoste mit Menschen, die nicht unbedingt etwas mit Whisky am Hut haben müssen (oder vielleicht auch noch nie Whisky getrunken haben) verschiedene Whiskys, während wir über ihre besonderen oder ausgefallenen Hobbys, Berufe, Erlebnisse oder was auch immer, sprechen. Und das war es eigentlich auch schon.
Ich würde mich auf jeden Fall freuen wenn ihr vorbei schaut und fleißig Kommentiert oder Fragen stellt!
