I was a little disappointed that not a single person mentioned Mastodon or the Fediverse from stage at #LaraconUS, despite most of the speakers having Fediverse profiles.

There were a couple mentions of Threads, but only as jokes (e.g., “Does anyone still use that?”).

The #NativePHP announcement at #LaraconUS reminded me that I contributed code to Titanium back in 2010 to embed #PHP into their application for building desktop apps.

Since PHP was embedded rather than distributed as a static binary, Titanium itself could parse and run PHP code.
