Made some adjustments to the design of the adapter to mount my 1850's Voigtlander lens to my Calumet 4x5 camera.
Since drilling holes in 3d-printed materials is ill-advised (the bit can melt the material instead of carving it out), the bolt holes for the mounting flange are now designed in. I've also introduced a recess at the opening for the lens barrel, as the flange has a small ridge there, and I extended the barrel sleeve for better grip.

Spent my evening modeling a lens board/adapter to get my mid-19th century Petzval lens mounted to my 4x5 camera.
Intentionally modeling it pretty robust to hold the weight of this very old lens.

I measured 120mm F1 on that projection lens and mounted it on my camera. It was bloody brilliant, I want to attempt something vaguely similar in B&W but this guy genuinely really inspired me .
Plus he sent me a promo print years after I got in touch. Which has been lost in umpteen house moves.

Thrift store find partially cleaned up and repaired. Needs a few more adjustments and a lot more cleaning, but still a good find for $25.
