For Christmas my girlfriends parents gifted me a 35mm camera for #analoguephotography. I wanted to get back into that and had tried it again at two #larps that I've visited in the last year, but my old cameras weren't working well, problems with battery availability meant no built in lightmeter, which made shooting more of a guesswork. The new camera, a near mint #canonae1 will hopefully fare better.
Now I have a new problem though. There is basically no affordable 35mm colour film on the market at the moment. Corona, plus a hype around analogue cameras has caused shelfs to empty and prices to skyrocket.
This, to me, is mostly a stark reminder about how used we are in Germany to having everything available to us in stores whenever we want it.
Well, no use in moaning... Guess I'll start out in black and white...

@The_Strix Will do, for sure. I was aware of #bleed from playing #larps, but I'm only discovering the academic discourse now.

It feels like going back to school, seeing there's a whole new field of research and design practice that's moving very fast and coming into its own as independent from digital games and also being taken seriously. Exciting times.

Hello! Introduction part two, new server edition! I'm coming from tech.lgbt, but I kept following folks here, so here I am!

My actual interests are #sailing, #weaving, #scifi and #fantasy books, indie #ttrpg, and parlor #larps. I also dip my toes in #infosec and #law, mostly as an observer.
