I got some bonus studio time and, put the new vacuum tray to use in prototyping a dice pouch. I had the fabric custom-printed and, riffed on my triskelion spirals design for the front. Kumihimo braided cord for the drawstring.

Les supports que j'avais découpé au #fablab pour mes petites batteries solaires ont maintenant deux supports supplémentaires, parce que si ça tenait verticalement, horizontalement, c'était compliqué. Et pour compenser l'épaisseur des aimants qui supportent le tout, j'ai vite fait bricolé des petites coussins en mousse. J'ai commencé à installer les rubans de LED au plafond, je peux déjà dire que ça me plaît pas totalement, mais il faut le finir pour voir ce que je peux changer.

Laser cut Lego organiser I designed and made at @ballarat Hackerspace to help assemble bigger sets.
We’ve built one of these previously but it was too big and cumbersome and we didn’t use most of the sections, so this newer version is much better suited.
Still needs to be painted, but we did testing on the 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System set and it worked great.

Had lots of fun with the space theme cake topper. The four was very important because this was the first year the little boy could count to FOUR. He wanted a two tier cake, so I designed the decorations to cover three levels. The base, the first tier, and the top. #NDBProjectLaser #LaserCut #Craft

Thirty minute studio project while waiting for glue to dry on something else: a stand to hold my Morph in a comfortable position while using it as a macro pad for video editing. I kept not getting around to making one of these until today, when I discovered that there is a laptop stand variant of Boxes.py. Cut from pre-finished walnut ply.
