Ok making some engraver progress here. Ran into some issues in Illustrator when trying to engrave and having a PNG file with transparency - laser system just wouldn’t work until I traced it as an object. Very touchy.

We just redid our front yard so we can park and charge both EVs as well as replaced all the plants and grass with native, drought-tolerant species.
I also added lighting throughout (shaded path lighting so no light pollution). The process inspired to build a nice lighted number sign to put out near the street and I started playing with ideas.
One thing I wanted to try was cutting chamfers on acrylic using the laser cutter and I'm pleased to say it worked perfectly!
