@spacelizard ooh! My buddies who run the EVE sounding rocket at #LASP use ln2 to cool their detectors to -100 C. They've got a flyaway ln2 line on a giant claw arm that retracts right before the rocket launches! They used to just have it attached to a very long rope that they'd yank on before seconds before launch. They also had to maintenance it once while the rocket was primed. Took a scissor lift and tightened something on the ln2 line of a live rocket!!!
We're not allowed to do that anymore.
