Frankly i don't know how my cousin does it; he was out here for something like 6 events on the first couple of days of #LATechWeek, flew to NYC for some Bloomberg thing yesterday, and is now on the train home. Meanwhile I was late to get up this morning for the only event I'm doing today and somehow managed to put on my shirt inside-out without noticing.

it's only day 2 of being on the far side of the country for it, but being at #LATechWeek is reminding me that one of the main takeaways from these kind of events is unchanged from the before times. There's lots of substance to be found in the stuff being presented, but a lot of the stuff is performative or superfluous and will disappear into the ether soon when the money goes away.
As one of the unofficial homes of #LATechWeek 2022, we are pleased to announce that we are back in 2023. Check out the calendar, and stay tuned for more, at the Culver City Collaboration Hub and at friends’ and neighbors’ places across the region. #LongLA https://t.co/cqzVEfAX0t
