My partner believe that at some point I will get use to it and « just » need training to demonstrate plasticity.

His point of view is that it’s part of him to interrupt to get a « better chat » and to restrain this character trait (or another) would be to deny himself and that I too must therefore make efforts.

What can I respond to that ?

@ReimanSaara I finally got the report of my assessment two days ago (that made from some fairly freaksome reading!) and am having a follow-up video meeting with the therapist next week (I've known for over eighteen months but, y'know... waiting lists an' all that). Unfortunately, there's no one around to give me cake so I'll just take a virtual slice of this one. Ta!😊
