This morning our local Kookaburra was on the clothesline, just hanging out looking for breakfast, and despite the early morning rain, it was quite dry.
However, by lunchtime he'd managed to get quite wet indeed.

I spied a Kookaburra on a picket earlier, but by the time I got the camera, it was on the ground, and then in a flash, away!
Almost a good in-flight/take-off shot, but heading away from me and clipped the top of the wings off.
He did however, manage to catch what looks like a Cricket for breakfast.
