Growing up #Mexican always meant that, the day after Turkey Day, the #Nacimiento would be up. Even if I have issues with the religion and with the church, #MexicanCatholicism will always be part of my #culture and it is something that I can appreciate.
My mom’s nacimiento is lit, complete with Christmas lights for #LaVirgenDeGuadalupe and extra statuettes of angels. It wouldn’t be Christmas or the Holidays without it. #Chicano #GrowingUpMexican #Catholic #Cultura #Aesthetic
