In this picture, I just broke the green yarn. There is just too little left in the ball to finish another repeat of the psychedelic striping. I can't wait to see it blocked! So, now remains the rest of the turquoise yarn to knit up. I'm pondering how to continue: in the same patterning without YO's or with? 🤔

#FlashBackThursday Back in 2017 I designed this shawl to use up the Ístex Léttlopi yarn I dyed myself with madder. The resulting color reminded me of that gorgeous burned orange color so often found in the hills of Tuscany. So I named the pattern after the Dutch name for the region 😃

In the slip stitch diamond stitch pattern, little diamonds are formed by slipping stitches and keeping the working yarn at the front of the work. Then a stitch is worked from underneath the strands of yarn, using the k1 uls stitch I showed you 2 weeks ago 😃

With the green cardigan, I'm unfortunately not as far as I last showed you.... I used the wrong decrease rate for the sleeves. So, I ripped both sleeves back to just before the second decrease round. 🙄 Well, onwards!
