Roglic has to be somewhat disappointed to lose 43s to Remco, though his biggest issue might be what the rest of team is like.

Well that stage did not go as I expected! Vollering and SD Worx caught out in crosswinds and AVV showing that she still has the ability to go on an all out attack to try and take advantage.

Brilliant performance from Gaia Realini, obviously she let AVV do all the work but I did not expect her to win a flat sprint.

Can imagine Vollering being very annoyed with FDJ & UAE not working until the last km

Stage 5 and the first proper mountains off the race, though the tv coverage missed the cat 1 Puerto de Navafría which split the peloton.

Gutted for Fisher-Black who after a minor crash got left in no mans land when the officials pulled the cars out rather harshly.

Vollering with the stage win that she had under total control on that final climb, with AVV 2nd and a very impressive Bauernfeind in 3rd.
