Hello #lawfedi #lawacademics I’m updating my human rights curriculum and increasing the focus on environmental justice - especially climate justice and Indigenous rights. It already has a topic devoted to the RTHE & one on UNDRIP but I’d love your suggestions for what else I could include. Anything from journal articles, to jurisprudence, blog posts, and video would be excellent. Thank you 🙏🏻
!! V. excited to have won a City of Melbourne arts grant to convert my book, Love and Reparation, into a lecture-performance. I am incredibly grateful at the chance to bring the artistic and scholarly elements of this work together, and to share it with a new set of audiences 🥳 #crits #lawacademics #lawandhumanities @crits

A year or so ago, some colleagues and I started a blog focused on legal and policy developments at the state and local level. It covers issues ranging from affordable housing and climate change to election law and abortion rights. The commentators come from a range of schools and perspectives, but all think hard about the role of state constitutions and local laws in our federal system. Check it out!

Amplifying @PanuMinkkinen’s much needed initiative to gather crit sociolegal/ law and humanities folks here: Follow the group @crits to get all toots across different instances mentioning the group. Similarly you can send toots to all the crits on the list by adding the group as if you were mentioning someone’s account. It’ll then be sent to all followers of the group.

For those of us who publish in law reviews, getting DOIs for our work so we can do things like upload publications to ORCID is a total pain.

Thrilled to participate in the Yale Law Journal's new Collection, Designing the Postpandemic City. The authors of this Collection examine the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on urban law and policy.
My paper analyzes how city policymakers engaged in “infrastructure sharing” during the pandemic by reallocating rights to both public urban space and city-owned resources.
