In the upcoming weekend, I'll implement an easy to configure verification config setting for my blogging software: github.com/novoid/lazyblorg/

@janek I refuse to support this weird Markdown subset that even lacks simple tables. Therefore, my blog software will not be able to support the idea. If Gemini allows Orgdown support some day that has support for the basic elements I'm using, I'll think about starting to think about an implementation for .
Until then, you'll enjoy most properties of Gemini on my blog anyway: focus on text, no advertisement, no active content, ...

@temporal That would be awesome.
However, since there are only a handful of people using , don't expect a polished experience although I tried hard to do so.
And take a look at the open issues on GitHub to get an idea what's not working so far (TL;DR: not that much I guess but that depends on your use-cases) and what ideas I collected that may be implemented some day.
I don't have much time for development, I'm afraid. (And the parser is really dumb.)

@bighi Depends on your requirements. Language detection among a defined set of languages can be easy. Separating many different languages not, of you can't learn from past toots.
is using a simple algorithm: see "guess_language..." in github.com/novoid/lazyblorg/ed

@kensanata I love the idea and I'd love to extend to generate HTML output in parallel to .

However, with its (IMHO too limited) markup (no tables!), I can not publish even my limited sub-set of Org syntax of my blog. 😔

@nytpu Org is lightweight according to all definitions I've seen so far. And you can start with a decent subset of it just like did.

Furthermore, I want to emphasize that the syntax makes much sense also for people who never start .
