Bedding changed.
Laundry done.
Clean laundry put away.
Rubbish taken out.
Kitchen and bathroom floors mopped.
Last nights dishes done.

Just need to wait till a decent time to hoover and get the hammer out (need to hang something up). Then I might get round to ironing some cross stitch and getting it mounted for framing.

I don't think I have grasped the concept that Sundays are made for being lazy!

Sunday is a day for relaxing, so time to find a film to watch while I stitch. Picked up this candle at the gala yesterday. Anyone that knows me, knows I love to support small local companies, this is a relatively new business that a neighbour has started. All her candles scents are inspired by the area we live in. Got this one onto burn just now, hoping the scent stays strong.

¿Os he dicho que por aquella época me pasaba horas grabando un programa de #Canal7, una tele local, llamado #PlayMusic? Aún tengo aquellos #VHS plagados de vídeos de #Madonna, #MarilynManson, #TakeThat y todos aquellos grupos que lo petaban entonces. Yo era de esos ignorantes dignos que despreciaban a esos grupos del fenómeno fan, aunque no podía evitar reconocer buenos temas en algunos de ellos, como en el último de los que he mencionado. No sabía nada de Robbie, pero sí estaba convencido de que por lo menos Owen y Barlow lo romperían a nivel individual. Como pitonisa no tengo precio, como veis.

De repente salió #LazyDays, que era un tema que me pegaba mucho musicalmente por aquel entonces y no paraba de verlo una y otra vez. Ya ves tú, una guitarra tocando acordes abiertos, todo muy sencillito, pero me molaba. Mis hermanos se hicieron eco y me cayó el CD por mi cumpleaños.

El segundo disco tenía mayor empaque y también cayó, pero perdí un poco el interés después (y #Napster o #Audiogalaxy tenían un poco de culpa) y no hubo nada más hasta 2005, cuando me regalaron #IntensiveCare.

Hace casi un año mi hermano decidió regalarme una entrada para el concierto que dio en Barcelona en marzo, lo cual ha servido para volver a engancharme a esos dos primeros discos que me pillaron en una edad tan importante como son los 18-19. En Amazon Francia tenían este disco a diez lereles y no he podido ni he querido resistirme.

Se trata de un disco con un tempo muy rápido y temas de corta duración, con lo que se te hace ameno y te lo escuchas en un suspiro. De hecho, los tres primeros temas son cañeros y no hay descanso hasta la archiconocida #Angels, canción que quizá haya conseguido que estemos hablando de Robbie ahora mismo por el petardazo que pegó. Sin embargo, a mí el Robbie que me gusta es el gamberro que se pinta a lo #Kiss y destroza el escenario del #MúsicaSí de #TVE cuando canta #LetMeEntertainYou, tema que creí que se llamaba así por ser una versión del de #Queen y resulta que no y que es mejor que la que cantó Freddie (abro paraguas). En el concierto nos tenía a todos bailando como posesos con esa canción.

Lo único que echo en falta con respecto al CD, del cual este LP es fidedigna reproducción ya que en su día no se editó en vinilo, es el #HiddenTrack en el que se desahoga de algún agravio del pasado con un contundente "Kiss my ass", pero tampoco soy muy fan de esos silencios al final de un disco.

Luego está lo que suelen decir de este tipo de artistas que "componen" con un "colaborador": Change a word, claim a third. Pero estamos aquí por la música, eso me la viene pelando.

We had a great day #today in #Cromer - the threatened rain never happened.

It was very blowy at the end of the pier, and we decided to dispense with tradition and eat in the pier head restaurant. I had a fish finger sandwich (not fish & finger you smutty minded person) - jolly good it was too.

We walked slowly back, broken by a doze on the grass in the hot sun while Mrs Mike caught up on her reading.
