Do you know a way to mute or block one user's posts, while still receiving their boosts? Today I learned they are vested in something inherently a rabbit hole for me, with no value at the bottom IMHO. Still, they aim me at some other interesting stuff. For this year's long distance hikes I am looking for a GPS logger. Must be reasonably small and lightweight, somewhat/reasonably accurate (to, let's say, 10–15 meter, 30-50 ft), do altitude, and not require a recharge every six hours.

It would be spectacular if the resulting log would be something standard (GPX or KML), with GPX preferred.

Anyone in the #lazyfed and #thruhike bubbles (repost, if you could) have any recommendations?

What apps/services does #lazyFed use to share links, images & such between (one user's) Android and desktop? I've been using Trello, but it's stupidly overkill for this, plus the recent "URL card titles are now hyperlinks" has made it severely worse. I tried Mozilla's #Pocket, but it didn't let me upload files (such as images).

Hey #lazyfed, there's an article I remember from a long time ago (more than a decade I guess) about how communities and fandoms change over time, which talks about how they start with creators and then you get fans who bring energy and logistics and support and then as it grows further you get people showing up to exploit it and you get managers and hierarchy and contracts and stuff. Anyone remember an article like this? Anyone have a link?
