Best #TUI tool for #git is definitely #lazygit. Well, for me the most complete and friendly.
Recently celebrating 5 years of development. 🥳

#Lazygit is five years old. I’ve been using it for a few years, and it’s made interacting with #Git so much more convenient. I used #vimagit (inspired by a coworker’s use of #Magit) before it, and the official Git #CLI before that.
Love me a good tool

Sometimes I want to use GUI to see some #git information to simplify the flow.
I've tried different things, based on my experience git plugin from IntelliJ Idea is one of the best.
Since I do not use it anymore, I looked for some replacement.
Right now my the main "additional" tool to terminal is GitHub Desktop.
I've tried #lazygit a couple of times, but I did not get into it.
Today I installed it one more time! I hope this time I will manage to move to LazyGit 😋

It's taken me more than a month to fully transition from vscode to Neovim... but now I'm starting to feel fluent, thanks to #LazyVim - and it's such a nice experience!
I've made one big deviation from most common setups you see out there for git/diffs and that is to skip #Fugitive and instead go for #LazyGit and the extremely underrated #Diffview.
The only thing I'm missing right now is some Pylance refactoring magic.
I should probably write a blog post about my new setup at some point!

I love how #Lazygit TUI shows these helpful hints regarding not only the tool usage but also good version control practices.
I've seen way too many developers using `git commit` daily or even less frequently. You're far better off with committing early and often (read: every time your tests are passing).
Improved my tmux setup with this lazygit popup.
bind g display-popup -w 90% -h 90% -E "lazygit"
I never knew this was possible, but it sure is awesome. As far as I can tell there's no keybind on 'g' for tmux by default, so it works out perfectly: g for git.
Check out lazygit if you like working in a terminal and want a good git client: https://github.com/jesseduffield/lazygit

I've officially converted to #HelixEditor from #VSCode and combine that with #LazyGit, #LazyDocker, and #K9s it brings me to 100% use of the terminal for all dev work.
