hey #lazyMastodon I want to create a program with #python and #gtk (gtk3 in particular) that shows #markDown .. what library to use to take care of the markdown functionality? I was recently spoiled by #textual which builds in markdown at a pretty fundamental level.

I don't think that pango markup is going to fit my needs. Linkification is unimportant, and embedded html or images are not needed.

Dear #LazyMastodon, I currently own a Lenovo Zuk Z1, a relic from the days when Cyanogen Corp. was in business partnership with several Android OEM's among them Lenovo.

As is well-known with the bankrupcy of #Cyanogen Corp., Cyanogen OS is no longer being updated. Though my phone hasn't been compromized so far afaik, and is still running just fine, still I ask: should I flash to #LineageOS ?

So much so that it's worth it to buy a Kobo or a second-hand monochrome Kindle to read #ebooks, when your eyes hurt after reading a book for about an hour on an iPad or on an Android phablet?
