Bah!!! I’ve started the wrong #LeedsBookClub book!
Nearly finished the very weird Beyond Black by Hillary Mantel for #LBCWSwan on Sunday… yet to start a fatal thing happened on the way to the forum by Emma southern and it’s this Wednesday for #LBCHorsforth

Our 2023 book picks so far
15th Jan The ten thousand doors of January - Alix E Harrow
12th Feb Beyond black - Hilary Mantel
12th Mar Ocean at the end of the lane - Neil Gaiman
#LBCWSwan meets on the second Sunday monthly, from 6pm-8pm, at the fantabulostic @whiteswanleeds
This book club reads general fiction and...well, this is the book club most likely to pick the (very) weird & wacky!
We also pick a lot of mythology - accidentally reading 3 or 4 versions of the Iliad so far. We regret nothing!
Chats never knowingly stay on track 👍
LBC has been meeting across Leeds since 2010 now, discussing books (films, podcasts, comics, tv - anything with a faintly literary bent!).
If you’d like to chat books with delightful friendly people, who enjoy zany weird tangents, then we might be the #Leeds based book club for you!
Send me a toot or an email and I’ll wing you an invite to join one of the three book clubs 👍
