The book I'm rereading is So This Is Ever After by FT Lukin, which is doing an admirable job of being a comfort read. It's about what happens after the epic fantasy heroes with no training in government kill the villain who was in charge, features a whole world full of LGBTQ+ folks, and takes itself almost as seriously as Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
