After #lca2021 I once again feel weird and miss the helping with bump out and “travelling home” closure.

Much like #pyconlineau2020 before it, it’s been a part of my life for the last few months (and I’m just an AV type, I can’t imagine how much more this would hit the amazing organisers) and it feels weird that it’s just “unplug the extra computers on my desk and ... watch tv I guess?”

@FLOX_advocate torn between this and Veracruz and decided to attend this. Partly because I get really annoyed when I have to use a badly designed API :)

Me and the Tuxes starting to watch the last day of #LCA2021.

Staying awake until 7 in the morning (*grmblesmurf* timezones!) is not as easy as I remember it being when I used to go to LAN parties. Is thus what it feels like to get old?

@FLOX_advocate going to do this followed by Open ISAs while my brain is still fresh!

@FLOX_advocate I like the way Hopin does hallway track a bit better - you basically do a chat roulette with a random other participant, and if both want to extend the random session they can keep talking.

Venueless' seem to only give you one single chat (with optional audio/video) for everyone.

The conference stream I was trying to watch kept stuttering and had no audio; `psi-notify` saved the day by notifying me there's a high CPU pressure. Turns out `pulseaudio` was busylooping! A judicious `pkill` later and everything is back on track.
