Very late to the party. Today, we played our first #ArkhamHorror #cardgame scenario and won it by a whisker. Honestly, the game system is rather clunky, but I like it anyway. I think with a cheat sheet and more experience it will be far more approachable. In my opinion, it's far more exciting and thrilling than #MansionsofMadness. I still prefer #ttrpg, but we enjoyed this game quite a bit.

TL;DR: We want more!

Hoy he finalizado la campaña! consta de 6 escenarios que representan por completo el primer volumen de esta trilogía.

En esta campaña se nos añadirá un nuevo héroe a nuestro equipo: Frodo, el portador del anillo. Generará sus propios recursos y podrá hacer su habilidad especial utilizando el Anillo Único. Deberemos protegerlo, ya que la campaña se pierde si en algún momento Frodo es derrotado.

Visitaremos lugares tan míticos como la taberna del Póney Pisador, la Cima de los Vientos o las Minas de Moria y nos enfrentaremos a orcos, los míticos Nazgûl, incluso al Balrog.

Es increíble como este juego de cartas es capaz de presentarnos escenarios tan distintos en cada uno de los capítulos y como nos hace vivir esta gran historia.

Muy recomendable!

Elfos de Lórien

Con este mazo podremos representar a los Elfos Silvanos de la Tierra Media.
Es un mazo muy equilibrado y adaptable a todo tipo de situaciones. Además los aliados Elfos suelen otorgarnos habilidades en el momento que los reclutamos: bajar el nivel de amenaza, buscar otras cartas en nuestro mazo para añadirlas a nuestra mano, preparar algún héroe agotado, etc...

Con los Elfos tampoco tendremos problemas con el nivel de amenaza, disponen de varias formas de reducirlo haciéndonos pasar desapercividos frente a nuestros enemigos.

Por último añadir que disponen de 3 héroes muy buenos con habilidades potentes, que además podremos potenciar si conseguimos equiparlos con algunas cartas vinculadas.

I continue getting my butt handed to me in Arkham Horror solo games. Zero for three so far. Still learning lots, starting to customize my deck to shore up some weaknesses, and down to a single investigator (2 hand solo is a lot). #LCG s like [#MarvelChampions] are the hotness locally, so if you're looking for people to play, that's a likely candidate. [#ArkhamHorror] and [#LordOfTheRings] are similarly good and have been refreshed recently, so should have activity.
