Seen on the #Brenner railway line in May 2002: an #FS 🇮🇹 #ALe840 unit and its #Le640 driving trailer (both with opening windows) at #Fortezza/ #Franzensfeste station, awaiting further duties.
They were built from 1949 onwards and withdrawn around 2005.
