Thich Nhat Hahn says

"When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. That's the message he is sending."

But some people need compassion far far far away from us ha. I think of this quote a lot when someone lashes.

#Medium is such a kind loving supportive place.So last week was shocking to me after a writer publicly named and shamed me. Using my actual name and some pretty cruel words. About me and other writers. Stuff which hurt. And people supported the hate.

Didn't know that was allowed even.Then spun the web so she looked like the bug and not the weaver of the web. This person is a good writer after all. Can we leave the hate, slander and defamation calling out of Medium? Can we #leadwithlove
