Spent the evening compiling some #demographic data for a society I'm in, and it's depressing that the normal patterns of women and non binary folks making up a larger proportion of early career and precarious positions still persist. Not to mention that we remain stubbornly, overwhelmingly, white. Just waiting for that pipeline to stop leaking! The good news is that the huge majority of people feel welcome in our association 💚#Academia #LeakyPipeline

Searching for a chemical resistant lab coat for a curvier woman: I don't need a "sporty design" and "exciting colour contrasts" or flattering cut.

I need it to know if it will close at the chest!!!

If you wonder about why the pipeline is leaking, it's because we spend ridiculous amount of time searching for ways to do our job safely
