There is no business and technical justification for small companies to spend enormous sums on developing web apps that are internal-use-only business management software with the total number of users hover in the tens and all the users are "experts" in the business operations.

Most American businesses are small. Yet, many of them aspire to develop and maintain their very own web apps with Angular or React #GUI and are deployed in the cloud. Without aforethought and understanding, these mom-and-pop outfits are trying following the giant tech firms' footsteps, but without the resources to match.

In-the-cloud or on-the-premises, #TUI for the end users and #CLI for the admin users are the only sensible choices for small, in-house business software. There are tonnes of easy-to-use, simple-to-develop UI libraries for the console.

A smart, small business would exploit TUIs as a #lean, #agile business strategy, at the same time improving the mental health of the in-house #development team.
