Many thanks for every one of you who have encouraged me to not give up on the possibility of pedalling pleasure.
I have been inspired enough to hunt online - and discovered that our local council actually ran free courses for adult beginners - however they have had to stop because there was too much demand. You can add your name to a waiting list, and, I guess, wait. However it does not say how long for. And the word "stop" seems pretty final.

Working on my project and learning I-cord cast on. A query, does it always have this ‘gutter’ at the back of the work? Should I go down a needle size for the cast on? Or is there a neat trick that solves this? @knitting

In my job I'm called upon to give application training to users eg. Microsoft Teams. One of the challenges is understanding what level to pitch the training at.

I've been looking at literacy levels for reading and writing, and am wondering if anyone knows of a digital equivalent for ?

This would help me work out what assumptions I'm making about the audience I have and be able to set appropriate expectations with a client.

Beyond this specific case it's also something that I'm interested in as a
