Braun ET66 #calculator modelled in Blender.
Simplified (LCD is one texture, and didn't even try to model the back) and I haven't dared to try UV yet, so these are object textures projected by trial and error transforms.
Now that I'm beyond the absolute basics, I'm definitely learning more by doing projects like these than working through tutorials... and it's also more fun to work towards something you want.

Behold my orbs. Ponder them.
It took a long time for me to realize that I could scale the z axis to zero when working with shaders allowing for a flat surface to track an object strictly above or below it. The glowing rings are literally placed by shaders linked to the spheres above them.
Messing around with curves and casting and such.
