I’m not that far along in my Korean yet. I fear I’ll have the same problem.

I think out loud - it just all comes flowing out and I hope that someone understands once I’m done.

How will I talk if I have to know what I’m saying ahead of time?

I have to get used to typing on XDA profile caps, but I got my keyboard for learning how to type in Korean!
The board is a Keychron K4 Pro and the caps are from AliExpress. Cheaper than anything I found on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or any of the other sites like Drop.
Switches are:
Box Pink on alphanumeric and fn keys
Box Navy on arrows, light change, Esc, and caps lock
Box White on modifiers.

I'm almost done with the book プラナリア but I'm not liking the last short story so I hope I can finish it this weekend.

I also started reading my first Korean book and, although it is not a novel or short stories like I prefer, it's good practice for my level and has interesting points about Korean etiquette and society. The book is called 생활 속 한국문화 77!

Thirteen day streak on my Korean language app. I'm hoping to get to the point where I don't sound like someone is going to yell at me if I pronounce something wrong. Listening to the playback of me speaking Korean is painful but so what, I'm learning it!

I'm just trying to find friends on a new platform 💜

Now that my healing seems to be past the critical stage and into an upswing, I've had more energy for things I love. One of those has been going back to learning Korean. I'm about at a toddler level - I know a handful of words, I can sound out written things but I don't know what the words mean yet.
I LOVE it.
Learning French was a lot different, because of language similarities. Korean has me starting from the beginning and it's so challenging, in a good way.
