I'm learning to draw, slowly. Here are some items inspired by the central supply catalogue from #MongooseTraveller . I only copied 2 of the 8 items, so that's progress #learningtodraw #mastoart

I made a little 'fan art' drawing for my own game🤣
Just like my pixel art has improved, so has my actual drawing.
'Normal' drawing is what helps with my pixel art the most.
I've learned a lot about colors, shapes an simplifying from drawing.

Finally sat down & sketched a #Pathfinder remake of a friend’s #DnD 4e OC:
Yúriko the Clanless (she/her)
Catfolk 24 years old
Shifter (Aspects of the Tiger & Bull) Lv. 6 & Druid (Ash Domain) Lv. 3

Sharing with you a very serious looking penguin that was drawn on procreate using a digital hb, and digital 4b pencil, light green background and with the help of a photo. I also practiced my contour lines to give my penguin a little bit more of a cartoon character feel. #learningtodraw #mastoart
Here is my potato drawn in hb pencil and paper on the train for #artpotatoes #sillycuratorprompts. My original idea admittedly not very well executed was to have a potato with paintbrushes sprouting out of it. I’m not sure why my potato is floating in the sea like a boat that wasn’t part of the plan. @Curator #mastoart #learningtodraw

My wife told me to keep drawing girls and boobs, and so I shall. Doodles.

Attempted to do a bit of outdoor sketching with coloured pencils today in London of some bridges on the river Thames. #mastoart #learningtodraw
This is a digital dog that I did a few days ago from a photo of one of my favourite breeds of dogs a Rottweiler. As you can she is a little bit lifeless and pixelly, that Rotty strength and energy and vitality isn’t quite there. The first thing I need to do I think is add some colour, depth and gloss to her coat and a bit for definition to her #mastoart #learningtodraw
Yet again I’ve lost, can’t find my digital pencil which is why this very quick rough unfinished sketch of a miserable looking slightly human dog with a pink eye is done in coloured pencil on paper instead. #learningtodraw #mastoart. The only problem with pencil and paper as opposed to digital is it is harder to convey the colour white, this dogs white breast. No rubber with me so proportions aren’t quite right.
Some coloured pencil practice today based on two objects a mug of tea with a tbag in and an iPad that I had in my room. Of the two the mug of tea is a little bit more successful though far from perfect. My natural messy style/personality shines through #learningtodraw #mastoart
I still don't know WTF I am doing, but at least I don't know a little bit less today.

Some practice and doodles as I figure out heads and bodies. And boobies.
Trying to figure stuff out.
Digital art tools like Procreate are amazing so many colours. It corrects my lines for me , can produce perfect circles, lines, curves and squares, can do symmetry plus I can delete things, reshape things, trace etc. Procreate is a little bit though like doing art with training wheels or stabilisers on. There is one thing I need to do to get better at drawing, a lot more doodling, sketching and scribbling just with grey pencil and paper, like here (no digihelp) #mastoart #learningtodraw
Digital drawing/sketch of a canoeist and a lake inspired by a photo of Lake Louise in Canada. #mastoart #learningtodraw
A collage of two unfinished finished basic colour pencil cartoon style sketches, one is of a lady wearing a pencil, the other is of a fox. I added some fox to the background too. #mastoart #learningtodraw
Learning heads is almost as good as therapy. Starting to get the hang of directionality. Almost.
Doodling, practicing. Almost as good as therapy.
Gestures, some big cats, and lots of fucking boxes.

Tonight’s art work, I started of drawing flowers (see pic to the right) then started thinking of mussels because some of my petal shapes were a little bit musselish, so attempted to draw mussels, but my mussels came out as dyed onions (see pic to the left) next time I want to draw mussels I’ll use a reference photo so my mussels can’t be mistaken for onions #mastoart #learningtodraw
