I came across this article about the history of gay leather (US and Europe) from a Dutch point of view. Included are a video from NYC’s Eagle’s Nest when it was still standing. It was very cool to see the banners of leather clubs of the past and present. There are lots and lots of sources listed that I’ve never seen.
