Finished my first ride on my #Lectric #ebike

Three miles in the neighborhood streets, with frequent stop signs. I must say the pedal assist really helps coming off a dead stop, once you get used to the sudden jolt, lol.

I just turned 50 and my wife if 49. We have some great by.often hilly trails here in the Piedmont(of NC). The eBike has been a game changer.

It doesn't get nearly as cold here in NC so hoping to continue to ride year round.

summary, the #ebike ride was great The good news is 22.3 miles on the #lectric and 490wHr to #recharge. that's 22wHr/mile for those keeping track.
but the #craigslist was a bust. the guy didnt give me a valid address and when I challenged him he said he sold it yesterday, we had agreed to meet today and email 3 times in between.😡

the #ebike has a fresh charge, the #waterbottles have fresh water and there is some cool stuff on #craigslist to go check out; its time to get the #lectric ebike and go for a #ride. Its only about 7 miles away but because of the limited #bikelanes #bikepaths and #biketrails in the USA it will be a 20 mile ride. good thing I like my #bike and need the #exercise.

I think I have decided to sell my V1.0 #lectric #ebike and get the V3.0; If I still like the idea tomorrow I'll research how long it takes to get a lectric 3.0. Does anyone have one yet?

@evoterra I too have an #lectric #ebike , V1.0 with 2,400 miles on it) and love it but I find the #powerMeter useless. If you have the time, I was wondering if I have a buggy version. I'd be interested in your experience.

@bricin I have an #lectric V1.0; friends have a folding rad; both are fine. the lectric is now V2.0 and the folding rad is not made anymore. I recommend at least 20in wheels, and 750w motor, the lectric is a little under powered at 500 but it works.

@bricin I like my #Lectric XPremium. It's a mid-drive and not lightweight so not for everyone. But I like it.
