@superheroine The Nauvoo theology, in my mind, represents the supreme and crowning doctrines of Joseph's mission, and for which a plot was hatched against him by William Law, Emma Smith, and several others. Since Joseph knew he would not finish his mission, he reveals in his writings the coming of another who will complete the job, a person Isaiah and many other Old Testament prophets foretold.
