@editor this is a fantastic idea! I’m not in the book Biz (aside from the reading of them!) and love children books.
In fact, #LeedsBookClub used to have a book club dedicated to adults reading children’s books - #LBCPuffins.
Sadly my bestie who ran it had other commitments but for a few years there, it helped remind us of the child and wonder within!

Making the move from #GoodReads to #StoryGraph for my personal reads/ book lists.

Will give it a go for a month and then decide whether to follow suit with my #LeedsBookClub reads too.

Excited to see that my bestie and I can do a #BuddyRead and put in hidden comments to avoid spoiling one another!

Been a bit rubbish at posting as was working on getting the blog up to date. It now is! Huzzah!
After #LeedsBookClub #Christmas party tomorrow, I’m determined to crack the verification thing!

Been attempting to organise my dead tree versions of classics (myths or legends) books onto one shelf. But my dalek got squished.
Second Edith hall and stone blind by Natalie Haynes aren’t included either as they are Christmas presents.

I’m going to have to start over aren’t i?

In a situation such a this, purchasing new book shelves seems the wisest option.

All 624 pages of it. Thank heavens I’ve read it before!

Just finished The Women of Troy by Pat Barker for #LBCHorsforth (book club) tomorrow evening.

Technically a sequel, I did double check that it could be read as a stand alone before I put it into the hat as I was desperate to read it, having lived the silence of the girls.

Can’t wait to hear what people think of it.
