Just found out The Flamboyance in Leeds (UK) had its Pride bunting ripped down overnight and set on fire. I am aghast and quite furious.

The night before Leeds Pride and the setting-on-fire thing shows it’s not a casual incident by drunk twats and it’s been reported as a hate crime obviously.

Shit like this shows WHY we still need Pride to be about protest more than drag pageants and music festivals.

Absolute bastards.

Tech rehearsal day and the dining room is full of 'stuff' again. One-off show for Leeds Pride tomorrow night at The Flamboyance up in Holbeck, reprising the Fringe show so I've been refreshing my memory, making sure I have party poppers, the stage iPhone is charged and the lights still work. It's a welcome day off the third album, to be honest.

It's LEEDS PRIDE WEEK, and this Fri 4 Aug at The Flamboyance - Bar & Coffee (Sweet St Holbeck) I'm reprising the show I took to Edinburgh Fringe, an original musical show about being one of them wot the Daily Mail warns you about!

Free in but with a bucket-shake on the bar. Also you don't just get me but I'm proper chuffed to welcome the fantastic LYDIA, comedian and drag king extraordinaire!

Starts 7:30pm but the bar's open well before that. Come, it'll be FAB!
