Started a new #LegacyOfYu campaign in the hope of winning it 7-0 or 7-1.

I just won my second game by the skin of my teeth, all my villagers were destroyed, barely managed to contain the barbarian threat, and the flood was right up my bum 😅

Current score is 2-0. I dread to think what disasters the game is gonna through at me in round 3.

Part of me wants to jump back into Yu, because the mechanics and strategies are still in my mind and I’m still bitter at that damn flood.

The other part wants to take a break and learn Spirit instead.

Played my second game of Legacy of Yu.

Once again overwhelmed by barbarians.

Played my third game of Legacy of Yu. Focused on getting workers every turn. Built up resources after the third canal. Crushed it.

Definitely enjoying this game. Recommended for an interesting solo campaign experience.

Love me some Shem Phillips, so when I saw Legacy of Yu at the awesome Guardian Games in Portland, I had to pick it up. I visited #GuardianGames back in 2018 when I was last here, and it's a wonderful establishment.

I'm about to get the first play in as I kick it in the hotel for the balance of the evening.
