If we were to see litigation in defense of #Mastodon bc of #tweeter potentially anticompetitive behavior or under any other legal theory (torts?) who would bring it? Could an organization like #aclu get involved? Would they have standing to sue? Does anybody in #legalacademia have an answer?

For my part, at least, childhood me, who helped my mom with cleaning houses, who was told never to expect better than to work as a cashier, and who grew up very very poor, could never have dreamed of a job as cushy as #LegalAcademia. I love my job. It is so much easier and more fun than law practice. I am #grateful for it every day. #CheerfulMastodon
