Marijuana reform is way overdue for at least personal use; prohibition hasn’t worked & the law is considered a joke with widespread use. There is plenty of evidence of it’s positive medical use esp with pain relief, but also cancer treatments. My wife has tried CBD oil, it helped for her fibromyalgia but not the migraines and muscle pain, and she’s become allergic. Medical marijuana has low THC, which is an important component in it’s medical use, is hard to get if you can find a prescribing doctor, and expensive. Marijuana is quite literally the ONLY pain killer my wife can take she is not allergic to, apart from Panadol which is ineffective for her pain. She suffers daily constant migraines of 3 different types varying in severity. She does not want to be a criminal, and just want to get easy cheap access to pain relief. It is NOT too much to ask.

This could finally be Ireland's chance to decriminalise all drugs and legalise weed.

Weed legalisation must be done correctly:
•Over 21's
•Max THC and Min CBD legislated
•No advertising
•Sold only by non-profit clubs & co-ops

Also I love how much Ireland has embraced non-hierarchical, deliberative & democratic citizens assemblies!

If someone had told me back in the day that standing in front of screaming amps without ear protection and listening to music WAY too loud on headphones would lead to constant tinnitus that sounds like an aeroplane flying around inside my head in a circle CONSTANTLY I may have paid more attention. I probably wouldn't have done anything any differently so hey ho... 😬
