A three-part series that began with my reviewing a relatively little-known 2005 visual novel translation ends with... Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. While I was digging through Internet Archive captures of vector .co .jp, I happened across a page captured on June 5, 2004. The Internet Archive captured a gif ad for a certain game being released on June 24, 2004. Since Trails in the Sky is one of my favorite games, I documented and re-printed the GIF ad, frame by frame, with links to the original source.

¡Viernes al fin! Después del curro, empieza el finde, el descanso y el vicio.

Este finde no se duerme, hay que aprovechar hasta la úlitima hora para darle a los juegos.

Después de pasarme el #trailsinthesky y #coldsteel , vi que steam sacó la saga que va entre medio de esas dos, la de #trailsfromzero (el primero de los dos juegos que la componen)

Las dos sagas que he jugado me han gustado muchisimo, de la saga de juegos que más me ha gustado la verdad. Espero que la de Zero esté al mismo nivel de historia, que seguro que si (aunque habiéndome pasado ya #coldsteel, más o menos he visto algo de la historia ... Ya podrían haberlo sacado en orden en steam 😂)
Pero bueno, primero a ver si hay tiempo para jugarlo 👍

#LegendOfHeroes might have potential, but I don’t feel like it now. The initial action sequence was good but then it got infodumpy and I went… “meh”.

Next up is, deep breath, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel - Northern War.

I think this might be a game adaptation. I’ll use #LegendOfHeroes as the hashtag.
