i rewatched the first movie today. been meaning to watch it with the gf after we saw arcadia of my youth some weeks ago, and with the news earlier this week i felt it was appropriate.

honestly didn't expect to get this emotional over it, though. took me a while to get through the rest of the tv series, but coming back to it just made me think about how much i love leiji's work, despite the issues i have with them
