We've been to #Krafla geothermal area in northeast #Iceland a couple of times before but this year was the first time we ever hiked #Leirhnjukur. It was a fairly busy area but most people were only there for a quick photo stop, not for the hike. Some signage was missing so we weren't sure whether we were taking the long or short trail (still not sure, tbh). We just followed the markers and somehow made the loop amidst the fog. Definitely worth a visit.
