Das #Althochdeutsch|e #Wörterbuch stellt unter scûuuo 2 #Bedeutung|en zusammen; synchron sind beide besser in 2 #Lemma|ta zu trennen. Auch #etymologisch ist die Verbindung unsicher, da es für skûwo 'Schatten' 2 Verknüpfungen gibt (zu *skeuh3- 'bedecken' oder zu *skeuh1- 'sehen').

Wenn eine Wortform in seiner Zuordnung unklar ist, ist dagegen ja prinzipiell nichts zu sagen. Man muss es halt nur kennlich machen. Wird es nicht. Das ist jedoch nur eines der Probleme dieses unsäglichen Glossenwortschatzes.
