I'm looking for a Reddit alternative and was looking at Lemmy, the fediverse alternative. I know it's not as popular as mastodon, but was just wondering, what peoples experiences are and how it compares to Reddit. Thanks.

I didn't feel disappointed with its capabilities. I moved away from #LemmyWorld instance to #Geddit, maintained by Sir @stux. So far, so nice. Tip: cross-post a lot and find more communities via #LemmyVerse (a.k.a. Lemmy Explorer)!

Is it possible to browse Lemmy communities and/or topics using a Mastodon account? Perhaps specific Mastodon client/app is needed? #mastodonhelp #lemmy #lemmyverse #fediverse

I know recreating the Dreddit whole cloth in the #Fediverse isn't what we want, but I just figured if there were a few familiar landmarks so to speak for the Redxiles, it would help make the #Lemmyverse more better more quicker. ya know?
