Using a from maybe a good 10 meters away, I could zoom straight through the netting (2nd pic is for reference)

Unlike today (dull & barely stopped raining) yesterday was so sunny that the sturdy net was like using a special anti-glare filter

Went out to photograph the flowers and heard a noise behind me.
I really do admire the skill of those that photograph birds and insect in flight. Took me ages to get a couple and in the end had to zoom back to rely on cropping

Fallen white crocus.
Somehow, reminds me of an busy octopus gliding through the sea.
One of it's petals exposed the flower's inner secrets having been pulled back while snagged on something as the rest began leaning towards the ground.

Small group of crocus in a triangular grouping.
I'm currently reliant on a crutch (new hip last week) and the camera, being a , is not light, so I had to try and remain in one spot and pick out interesting groups, between the dapple shadows, for which that is handy
