I'm heading outside in about 15 minutes, to let my eyes adjust to the dark before the potential meteor outburst at 1 am.

I don't know if it's gonna happen, but I want to see it, if it does!

I'm going to try to go out and see the #leonidmeteorshower tonight. I think I read that peak timing is in about half an hour for me (DC, USA). Instead of going outside to get my eyes used to the "dark" (I'm in #DC it's not that dark) I'm just turning off all the house #lights. it's too cold to stand outside for 30. Anyone else seeing anything? #astronomy #meteorshower #leonid #meteor
