Just discovered that poet Les Barker died back in January. I went to see him once and just had my head in my hands the whole time as I was laughing so much. Amazing. Such a loss. #poetry #lesbarker

Well Damn. A friend just alerted me that #LesBarker has passed on. He wrote both comedic and serious poems, occasionally recruiting musicians such as #MartinCarthy and #JuneTabor to perform his work.

Sorry to hear of the death of Les Barker. I last saw him performing at Bromyard festival last September. A very funny man who will be missed by many.
