Maemo Leste project is a Linux-based mobile operating system, based on Maemo Fremantle developed by Nokia.

The project is developed and maintained by the community.

Maemo Leste uses a modern base, in the form of Devuan, and aims to make the most of the existing Maemo software by porting it all to the modern base.
