Am I the only one who loses interest in #gaming #letsPlays close to the ending of the game?
Like, I love to see the player's reaction to the story beat, but not the ending for some reason.

(Also, I LOATHE watching #Twitch. Just... can't. Because 99% of streamers spend more time interacting with noisy pinball sounding popups than with the game, often missing vital info from the game. I get it, it's often their income, but UGH).

@Gina I've watched #LetsPlays for years and for me it boils down to a couple of categories and why I like them:

• Games I'm unfamiliar with: I get to experience the game without having to invest the time in them. Works especially well with well-edited videos of games with otherwise a lot of grinding, or difficult puzzles I'd struggle with myself anyway. Or with games that have a great storyline, but horrible gameplay, which I can then just skip through.
• Games I'm familiar with, but which the content creator plays in a unique way. This includes speedruns, especially Any% runs in which they abuse a lot of weird glitches, but also exploration games to which the player adds roleplaying and/or good narration.
• Games I love, but which I know too well to play again myself. Watching someone else do a first playthrough of those sort of lets me re-experience the game for the first time through their eyes. Relies heavily though on the audience to not backseat game or spoil things...
