Forgot this was the rare week where I watched (almost) enough movies for a #LetterboxdFriday post.

Watched one labor-themed movie per day over the Labor Day weekend, and discovered that I've became the burned-out middle-aged white dude who loves old-school class consciousness but is suspiciously less enthusiastic about modern struggles and a race-based lens.

Disappointed in myself but hoping that recognizing the symptoms might prevent further drift towards brainworms.

Stane - Miu-Miu short by director of Murina. Good story of fighting family patriarchy. Amazing outfits, naturally.

Passages - Franz Rogowski plays the worst person in the world. I’d watch a full doc about Ben Wishaw’s printing company.

Pasolini - Willem Defoe is so good in this.
